Uniser Teacher Week
The idea behind Uniser Teacher Week was to create a dedicated space where teachers and school leaders could reflect, think ahead, and learn together about the internationalisation of education. From the very first edition, this event encouraged participants to share experiences, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects, turning inspiration into tangible partnerships.
Over the years, each edition explored a new thematic focus – from sustainability to digital skills to inclusion – responding to the evolving needs of educators and schools across Europe and beyond. This experience not only strengthened professional skills but also fostered a community of practice, laying the groundwork for the broader Uniser Teacher Weeks programme we have today.
Relive the highlights of past editions, and see how this initiative has grown into a dynamic platform for collaborative learning, professional development, and international cooperation!

Uniser Teacher Week 2023
The Sustainable Internationalisation
Held on 10-12 May 2023 at Fondazione Golinelli in Bologna, the first edition of Uniser Teacher Week explored what it means to make the internationalisation of education truly sustainable.
Environmental impact, resource management, and the growing demand for mobility challenged participants to rethink how schools can prepare students for a global society while ensuring long-term, responsible international engagement. Teachers and school leaders reflected on new approaches to integrate internationalisation into everyday learning, use digital tools to simplify processes, and promote greener, more inclusive forms of mobility.
